Diving courses for beginners
Our courses include theory (online and offline) and needless to say – in-water practice sessions. We also offer Video Feedback in our Open Water Diver courses to help improve buoyancy. Minimum age: 10 years.
To ensure personalized attention, our group sizes are limited to 3 students per instructor. If there are more, we add an assistant. We focus on individual needs, skill-building, and fun in a safe, supportive environment.
Below is an example schedule showing how the course is typically organized across several days.
While slight adjustments to the timetable are possible, please note that significant changes may not always be feasible. If you’re working within a tight schedule, we encourage you to reach out to us as early as possible to discuss any specific needs.
Our dives are 45 min long on average (depending on conditions, divers and air consumption).

Our DIR rental equipment includes the basics of standard gear but adds a Backplate and Wing setup, a longhose regulator, technical fins, and a closed-style DSMB & spool. This setup ensures comfort, confidence, and skill development for new divers.
Why choose DIR?
It’s all about teamwork and safety. Standardized equipment makes handling gear in emergencies seamless. The longhose regulator enhances safety during Out of Gas scenarios, while the Backplate and Wing setup helps control your position in the water precisely. Plus, its streamlined design reduces drag, making underwater movement and handling currents much easier.
And as a bonus, you’ll look cooler than the average diver!

No matter which course you want to do, register with SSI and connect to Daivon Diving Centre. Once you have transferred the fees for the online materials, we will unlock the course materials. You can start learning directly on the SSI website or by using the MySSI App.
